Miles joins German Gallagher & Murtagh in the Transportation Practice Group with an interesting background. After graduating Drexel University with a degree in mechanical engineering, Miles was employed with a prominent engineering consulting firm and was involved in the design of various projects in Philadelphia including the Girard Avenue trolley line and the new U.S. Airways international terminal at Philadelphia International Airport. Thereafter, Miles worked for a manufacturing firm in Delaware County and worked closely with inventors and patent holders to develop new products and improving manufacturing processes to bring new products to market.
While in law school, Miles participated in the summer abroad program in Sydney, Australia studying comparative constitutional law between Australia and the United States as well as comparative products liability and tort law.
Prior to joining GGM, Miles was in-house counsel for an engineering consulting firm in Bucks County, and handled everything from township approvals for land development projects and contract negotiation to debt collection and employment law matters.
Miles will concentrate his practice in support of our trucking, casualty and commercial matters on behalf of self-insureds, insurance companies and corporate clients. |
