Anwar is an attorney who focuses his practice on the defense of insured and self-insured entities in a variety of litigation matters including premises liability, dram shop/liquor liability cases, motor vehicle accidents, and transportation & trucking matters.
Anwar joined German, Gallagher & Murtagh as an associate in the firm’s casualty litigation and transportation and trucking practice groups. Prior to joining German, Gallagher & Murtagh, Anwar worked as an associate at a large Philadelphia-area insurance defense firm in their Workers’ Compensation department.
Anwar earned his Juris Doctorate from Rutgers Law School in Camden, New Jersey. In his final year at Rutgers Law School, Anwar was recognized for his writing by winning the Greg Lastowka Writing Competition. Anwar was also recognized with the pro-bono award for significant service upon graduation. Immediately upon graduation, Anwar gained his first practical experience in providing a variety of legal services to low- and moderate income New Jersey residents through the Rutgers Law Associates Fellowship Program.
