Ari J. Sliffman joined German, Gallagher & Murtagh as an associate in 2018, contributing primarily to the firm’s products liability and medical malpractice practice group.
Prior to joining German, Gallagher & Murtagh, Ari worked as an associate at a medium-sized defense firm in the Philadelphia suburbs. Upon passing the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bar exams, Ari served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Hon. Lisette Shirdan-Harris in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
Ari earned his Juris Doctorate from Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. During his time in law school, Ari was a member of Client Skills Board, representing the law school at various mediation and negotiation competitions around the country. Ari was also a member of the Marquette Sports Law Review, and had his article published, entitled “Unconstitutional Hosting of the Super Bowl: Anti-Ambush Marketing Clean Zones’ Violation of the First Amendment.” Ari’s first publication was awarded the O’Neill Prize for Student Writing, awarded to the best sports law comment each year. Ari also received a Pro Bono Service distinction and was the first student at Marquette to graduate earning both the Certificate in ADR and a Sport Law Certificate.
