Chantez is a trial lawyer who focuses her practice on the defense of casualty, premises, products, and trucking and transportation matters.

Chantez joined German, Gallagher & Murtagh is an associate in the firm’s Casualty and Trucking and Transportation practice groups. Chantez focuses her practice on the defense of insured and self-insured entities in a variety of matters including premises liability, dram shop/liquor liability cases, product liability, motor vehicle and commercial trucking accidents.

Prior to joining German, Gallagher & Murtagh, Chantez worked as an associate at a medium-sized insurance defense firm in Philadelphia [defending insureds from a variety of claims ranging from personal injuries due to snow and/or ice to complex commercial trucking accidents].  Chantez also previously served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Hon. Shanese I. Johnson in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas-Criminal Division.

Chantez earned her Juris Doctorate from Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  During law school, she was awarded CALI Excellence for Future Award for Best Student Performance in Medical Malpractice and Introduction to Trial Advocacy and was a recipient of the Sadie T.M. Alexander Book Fund Scholarship. Chantez also served as a Staff Editor on Drexel’s Law Review, a Marshall-Brennan Fellow, competed in the prestigious Constance Baker Motley Mock Trial Competition, and was an e-board member of the Black Law Students Association. Chantez was previously an executive board member of the National Bar Association, Women’s Lawyer Division- Philadelphia Chapter.
