Defense Verdict in a Construction Accident/Products Liability Case

Dean Murtagh and Jacob Lehman obtained a defense verdict on behalf of their client, a national equipment-rental company, after a two-week jury trial.

 The case involved a scaffolding collapse where the Plaintiff claimed the rental company was liable because it provided scaffolding that was defective and improper for the use to which it was being put.  The demand prior to trial was 7.5 million dollars.
